Drivers Be Alert for Children

Bus safetyRogers Police are reminding drivers to watch for children and school buses throughout the day.  Kids will be walking, biking and crossing the streets to get onto the bus.  Take extra precaution while kids are the area; give busses space to work and stop while the lights are flashing.  Parents please remind your children to be safe and smart while on their way to school; to watch for traffic and make sure vehicles see them before entering the roadway.  Police will be out watching for safety concerns and violations around bus stop locations.

Be Safe and have a great school year!

Rogers Neighborhood Watch

Rogers Police Department is offering an open invitation for those who would like to start a Neighborhood Watch for their part of the neighborhood. It’s a simple program where officers would stay in touch with group leaders once a month. Officers would provide relatable information to your group leader about what is occurring in their part of the neighborhood. The group leader would then forward that information to their fellow neighbors.
