The mission of the Rogers Parks and Recreation Department is to provide safe, clean, and beautiful facilities, parks and open spaces, along with professionally managed leisure activities for all people. Services shall be provided to enrich the quality of life for local citizens.  In order to effectively meet this goal, the Parks and Recreation Department for the City of Rogers will continually offer new and exciting activities.

Concussion Awareness

Even the casual sports enthusiast is aware of the seriousness toll that concussions can take on professional athletes. Recently studies from the Center for Disease Control indicate that concussions suffered by children can have an even more devastating effect, as such there is a new law in Minnesota requiring youth coaches to be trained in identifying and reacting to concussions and concussion symptoms.
