The City of Rogers, MN is accepting applications for the position of a full-time Mechanic. The Mechanic is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the maintenance shop, while performing mechanical maintenance, repairs and welding for all City departments. Minimum qualifications include ASE Certification in Automobile/Light Truck (A Series) and Medium/Heavy Truck (T Series), two years of work experience in equipment, automobile, diesel and truck repair, and a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License. Competitive benefits package. Starting $20.66/hour.

Rogers Parks and Recreation Department is accepting internal applications for a summer Parks and Recreation Intern. Under the supervision of the Recreation & Facilities Manager, this position is responsible for supervising summer recreational activities, facility scheduling, administrative duties, and developing new recreational offerings for the City of Rogers. This position will also provide excellent customer services to all city clients and the public. This is a paid part time seasonal summer internship; hours will include some nights and weekends.

Work is performed under the general supervision of the Public Works Superintendent. Interns will have practice dealing with construction project updates, newsletters, website updates, social media press releases and assisting in the development of presentations.
