The Rogers Police Department is accepting applications for Reserve Police Officers. The Reserve Officer position is a volunteer/unpaid position that exists for the purpose of assisting police officers and support staff in their duties. This position requires a minimum commitment of 8 hours per month, mandatory attendance at some city events, and some weekend evenings. Qualified applicants must be 18 years of age with a clean driving record. Citizens not interested in a law enforcement career but who seek a volunteer opportunity are encouraged to apply. Reserve officers must live within 45 minutes of the city limits.

Rogers Parks and Recreation Department is accepting application for a summer Parks and Recreation Intern. Under the supervision of the Recreation & Facilities Director, this position is responsible for supervising summer recreational activities, administrative duties, developing new recreational offerings for the City of Rogers and learn about facility operations. This position will also provide excellent customer services to all city clients and the public. This is a paid part time seasonal summer internship; hours will include some nights and weekends. This will be a paid internship.

Rogers Public Works Department is accepting applications for a summer GIS Intern. Under the supervision of the Public Works Superintendent, this position would assist City Staff compile, create, edit, and display geographic information for the City of Rogers. This position will also provide assistance with general office and field work. This is a paid part time seasonal summer internship; hours may include some nights and weekends. This will be a paid internship.

City of Rogers, is accepting applications for a part-time, on-call snowplow operator for the 2014-2015 winter season. The applicant should be able to operate a wide range of snow removal equipment including snowplow truck, bobcat, snow blower, sidewalk machine, and shovel. Applicants should be within a 30 minute response time to the City. Requirements for the position include: at least 18 years of age, MnDOT physical, and ability to pass random drug/alcohol tests. This position has no benefits or guaranteed hours. The hourly rate is up to $17.60 per hour. An application is available for download.
