Emergency Preparedness

Rogers is implementing a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).  CERT educates residents about preparing for disaster and hazards that may impact the area.  Members are training in basic fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and diaster medical operations. For more information, please contact Chief Brad Feist at 763-428-3500 and also the Citzencorps website.

The Volunteer Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates citizens on disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact the City of Rogers. The program also trains CERT members in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. CERT members are encouraged to support emergency response agencies by taking a more active role in emergency preparedness projects in their community. If you are interesting in the Volunteer CERT Program, please contact Fire Chief Brad Feist at 763-428-3500 or email bfeist@ci.rogers.mn.us.
