There are a number of options for recycling your yard waste, electronics, and other materials.
Last Spring we urged our citizens to recycle more – and you did! With the single sort carts, recycling is easier than ever before. This means you can place all your usual recyclables together into a 65-gallon recyclables cart. You can also add two new groups of recyclables: Milk, juice and soup cartons, as well as plastic containers #1— #7. Below is a quick guide to what is/is not accepted in the single sort cart. Think before you throw!

State Statute requires that recycling be made available to residential properties in Minnesota. This mandatory program is coordinated by the County, but the ultimate requirement falls to cities to ensure that curbside recycling is provided.

There are a number of different options for recycling your yard waste:
1. Since 2012, the City of Rogers has contracted with Lynde & McLeod, Inc. who operates the Maple Grove Yard Site, to allow Rogers residents to dispose of yard waste material. Rogers residents may obtain an annual permit for $25 that will allow for the disposal of material at no additional fees. Permits can be purchased at Rogers City Hall. Non-permitted residents will be charged on a quantity basis.
